In ensuring the continuing safety of crews and the continuing airworthiness of aircraft, European air cargo carrier AeroLogic GmbH have chosen Q-Pulse, a compliance management solution from award-winning Scottish software developers Gael Ltd. Founded in 2007 as a joint venture between DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo AG, Leipzig/Halle-based AeroLogic serve Asian destinations in the Express network of DHL Express, as well as supplementing the offer of Lufthansa Cargo, offering customers of both companies more capacities, more flexibility, an extended network and improved running times. As a new start-up amongst European air cargo carriers, and with a planned fleet of more than 10 brand new Boeing 777 aircraft, AeroLogic need to monitor and review safety and airworthiness throughout the organisation; in implementing a quality management system (QMS), AeroLogic chose Q-Pulse to help them ensure the continuing safety of crews as well as the continuing airworthiness of their aircraft. ‘Q-Pulse is tailor-made for us,’ explains Holger Stürtz, AeroLogic’s Head of Quality and Flight Safety. ‘With its structured approach to management system integration, the modules within Q-Pulse satisfy our requirements for Quality and Safety.
