Gael Ltd., the leading provider of quality management software to the aviation sector, is proud to announce the release of a new application for integrated Safety and Quality management. The new application builds on the existing foundation of Q-Pulse, Gael’s award-winning quality management system (QMS) software, which is used by more than 250 aviation organisations worldwide, including SAS, Emirates and the UK CAA. The application broadens Q-Pulse’s scope from QMS management to enable aviation organisations to manage core safety activities such as occurrence reporting, incident investigation and occurrence analysis. By integrating occurrence management into Q-Pulse, the system enables operators to adopt a systematic approach to managing Safety within a wider management system framework. In addition, as a single, central system for managing Safety and Quality that meets the needs of both disciplines, Q-Pulse provides a holistic viewpoint of SMS and QMS status in all areas and at all levels of the organisation. ‘For the aviation sector, the Q-Pulse Occurrence & Incident Management functionality helps users to create reports quickly and easily, and makes sure that any subsequent investigations can be carried out in a structured, methodical manner,’ said Paul Callaghan, Gael’s Product Director. ‘However, Q-Pulse extends beyond simply reporting on occurrences to include additional SMS activities such as internal audit and safety policy communication.
