How do I set a default map to load on start up?
To set changes for a map to default for all new maps, then follow these steps :
- Open Windows Explorer
- Select F3 to search and search for "default.ytem"
- Open map template
If you wish to change a given level in terms of style, font colour border, etc follow the steps below.
Select Styles, which is found from selecting Map from Menu Bar
From styles you will see a dialog box which indicates Core, Level 1, Level 2 .......Level 9
Select the Level you wish to change
Select tab for font, shape, connector or margins and carry out appropriate modifications.
Confirm by selecting OK
Your map will change to reflect your changes
This will be your default style for all new maps
